A teenage boy is initially constrained by life"s struggles. In due time though, through the power of love, he is able to greatly improve his condition. In varying measure the people who come into contact with him influence his life, and he in turn influences theirs. In his quest for fulfillment he encounters challenges and choices that set the stage for additional growth of character. His faith and trust in God eventually become the core of his strength to endure adversity and disappointment. He comes to know and remind himself in the midst of hardship that pain is a temporary situation, and that it can be a stepping stone to acquiring a healthier outlook. Perseverance in the ways of love has its intrinsic rewards. We live in such a hurting world, so much so that we are in need of being reminded that there is a bright light of hope at the end of any tunnel of gloom.
