Fuga Libera is happy to announce the beginning of a collaboration with young Taiwanese violinist Yu-Chien Tseng, Fifth Prize winner of the Reine Elisabeth Violin Competition. During that competition, Yu-Chien Tseng managed to convince both the jury and the audience (winning both audience prizes) with his personal, poetic interpretations of pieces such as the Brahms Concerto and Ravel s Violin Sonata. For his first recording he has chosen a few of his favorite violin sonatas, recorded in the magnificent Flagey Concert Hall in Brussels. His partner in crime is Russian pianist Inga Dzekster, whom he met at the Tchaikovsky Competition.
