This fourth edition of Brian Navin"s well established guide to the rivers and canals of the Netherlands is a major revision. Since the last edition in 2000 there have been many minor changes and developments, the text and charts have been updated accordingly throughout. The introductory section has been revised and all the plans have been redrawn to Imray"s standard-setting specification. Most significantly, the work is now in full colour. Many of the ground level photos are new and each port is now illustrated with Patrick Roach"s aerial photography. A specially commissioned flight enabled many of the harbours covered in the book to be photographed.
