This release is part of a historical restoration project of Brazil"s biggest independent label in the 50s-70s (Rozenblit). In this first chapter I was inspired to find that a whole psychedelic scene had developed in Pernambuco under the shadow of the military dictatorship and far from the music capitals of Rio & SP. To discover this music with the likes of previously unknown artists like Flaviola, and The Gentlemen for the first time has been an inspiration. Watch out for the super heavy original vinyl re-releases of all the key albums from this vibrant hedonistic music scene.
