The Archiv series provides documentation of German aviation history to collectors, modelers, and archivists that has gone largely untapped on this side of the Atlantic. Each of the nine volumes is a collection of previously unpublished photographs from private archivists. In Volume Five, the German aircraft industry, airlines, and airport authorities are among the topics included, with photos of aircraft ranging from biplanes and supersonic jets to balloons and airships.
