This new series is specifically designed for beginning singers in classical voice studios. Joan Boytim, who compiled the enormously successful First Book of Solos series, compiled these books, which come with a companion CD containing beautifully recorded piano accompaniments. To suit the needs of beginners, all songs are of a limited vocal range, and all are in English. Each book contains between 20 and 25 songs, and each volume has a unique set of song titles arranged specifically for that voice-type.
