Lajos Lencsés was born in Hungary in 1943 and studied at the Budapest Academy of Music and Paris Conservatory. His international career started with victory in the Geneva Internationial Competition in 1968. He is a member of the Stuttgart Radio Orchestra, and also a soloist of world renown.
