Transplants from the Northeast to San Francisco, the trio--Buckets and Breeders veteran Carrie Bradley, restaurant critic Dan Leone, and children"s book author Jonah Winter--specialize in whimsical instrumentation (guitar, a one-string, homemade bass, ukulele, accordion, clarinet, violin) and playful lyrics.
