After all the years the Grifters have been playing together, they can"t help but sound like a band. That wasn"t always the case, but on Full Blown Possession, they sound seasoned, sure of themselves, and much more into the task of making a concise disc. "Sweetest Thing" is an acoustic country-blues, while "Re-Entry Blues" rocks you with just the right attitude to make you want to hear it again and again. If it"s true that alt-rock has gone mainstream, then the Grifters have all oars in the water and are paddling ahead at full speed.
