More and more marriages are bringing together partners from different nationalities, cultures, races and religions. In this study of the phenomenon of "mixed" marriages the issues are brought alive by the frequent quotations from a wide range of such marriages. The author has worked for many years in the area of intercultural conflict and he is also involved in the training of marriage counsellors.
