After a syringe-wielding serial killer starts dispatching commuters on the Tokyo subways, the cops send crackerjack police psychologist Setsuko undercover on the trains. She meets her suspect--an old flame of hers--but soon finds herself trapped in a game of mind-control cat-and-mouse.
