"Toward the Mind of Christ: The Perspective of an Experimental Psychologist" is about the pursuit of Christianity-Christ-likeness, in particular. But it is different. Its content is based on scientific research. For some people, this might be an interesting mix since there"s often a contentious relationship between Christianity and scientific research. However, this book softens such contention in two ways. First, the author occasionally highlights how research supports and extends what is already stated in the Bible. Second, as the subtitle suggests, the book includes the experiences of one researcher"s life-the author"s life as both a scientist and a follower of Jesus Christ. So in part, it serves as the testimony of an experimental psychologist.
