Handbook of Psychophysiology
This handbook was planned as a comprehensive though not encyclopedic view of lthe science of pshcyophysiology. The editors endeavored to present foundations of psychophysiological processes, empirical principles of psychophysiology, relationshiops between physiology and behavior, and applications to psychosomatic conditions and psychopathology which it is hoped will serve as a fundamental framework on which to build further knowledge. This book is addressed not only ot those who wish to specialize and to work in the field but to those in related disciplines who wish to acquaint themselves with this knowledge, be they studnets of psychology or physiology, medical students or practitioners, or those who are seroiusly curious about advances toward solutions of age-old problems.
