This is an Eduard Models 1/48 Scale assembly and painting required plastic model kit of the P-39Q, the final production variant of the World War II era Bell P-39 Airacobra single-seat fighter. Includes underwing gun pods, optional centerline drop tank or bomb. No photo-etch or masks. Decals for a single USAAF aircraft: P-39Q-1 BE, s/n 42-19995, 71st TRS, 82nd TRG, 1944. *P-39 AIRACOBRA SYNOPSIS: Many P-39s saw service in the Pacific Theater, but the type were use with the greatest success by the Soviet Air Force in World War II. The P-39 was well-loved by Soviet pilots, and they flew the type with great deal of success in the Eastern Front.
