Chevy Blazer 1969-1981 (Brooklands Books Road Tests Series)

It was not so short, it retained the full width of the truck it was based on giving room for four passengers and their luggage, and not least of all it was a Chevrolet with the time-tested small-block V8 engine. A padded roll bar was introduced in 1974. About 83% of vehicles were built with automatic gearboxes. In 1979 it acquired a catalytic converter and a single exhaust pipe.
