North is a musical project currently centered in Ann Arbor, Michigan that has been producing original music since 1994. The Revolutions EP is North"s debut CD, and centers on their earlier, acoustic rock trio sound. A straight-up, raw, almost live instrumentation beneath a few intricate layers of hand percussion and secondary guitars highlights the dominating rhythmic element behind much of the album; a few more gentle and heartfelt pieces showcase the folk and songwriter roots of the band.
