Designed by Michael Schneider in 1995. Mono zeug (translated as tools), the most unusual pattern in the mono cutlery program, flawlessly melds the archaic with the avant-garde. The satin finished tools are based on a primordial pattern and is dedicated to the Neanderthals whose remains were found very close to the mono factory in Germany.The knife design is inspired by a hand axe, the elongated fork by early skewing tools and the spoon recalls a cupped hand.No other cutlery gives the tabletop impact and ergonomic comfort of zeug.
