Postcards From Paradise was recorded in 1993, collaborating with Singer/songwriter Tret Fure who first worked with Cris Williamson in 1982. This beautiful album contains original music written and co-written by Williamson and Fure. It is a folk-rock masterpiece. Many of these beautiful arrangements are piano-based, containing hints of country and Native American styles. Little World Spinning Blue is a wonderful curtain raiser, introducing a series of story-songs, sometimes based on events in their lives. Tret Fure tributes her father with My Fathers Hands while Williamson closes the album with the dynamic title track.
