Trc Report: Vol 4
This is the fourth volume of a five-volume report detailing the facts, findings and recommendations of the Truth and Reconciliation Commission. The set chronicles the working of an historical process, the purpose of which was to achieve national reconciliation and unity in South Africa. Volume one outlines the background of the TRC, including its history, mandate and methodology. Volume two introduces the various role players, while volume three tells the story of the victims in each of the five TRC regions. This volume deals with the role of various institutions, such as organized business, the media and the judiciary. The concluding volume comprises the findings and conclusions of the TRC, including a list of names of perpetrators of Human Rights violations and the recommendations of the Commission.
