On January 10, 1995, stripper Stephanie L. Martin and her boyfriend, William M. Busenburg, killed Busenberg"s best friend to fulfill Stephanie"s fantasy of murdering someone. Martin, raised as a devout Southern Baptist, and Busenburg, a convert to Evangelical Christianity, were arrested within days of the murder.
