A Man in Search of His Homeland: A Story Told captures the story of a Palestinian man who has been living in the United States with his family. In the US, he encounters hardships before becoming a very successful executive. Later he returns to Palestine in search of his relatives and above all to determine his identity. He is devastated at the conditions caused by the Israeli"s attacks, yet although an Israeli state has been established and there still remains a stateless Palestine, Mathias discovers in Palestine a people of hope. They have trusted in God (Allah) and are convinced that one-day justice, peace, and equity will come to fruition and an independent Palestinian state will be created, whereby Jews, Christians, and Muslims can live together in peace and harmony. He returns to the US and is determined to tell the Palestinian story.
