Pilgrims on the Sawdust Trail: Evangelical Ecumenism and the Quest for Christian Identity (Beeson Divinity Studies)
How can Christians of various faith traditions work together? What face can and should Christians today show the world? Pilgrims on the Sawdust Trail brings together scholars and church leaders to examine the new ecumenical conversations and relationships among evangelicals and the following groups: fundamentalists, Pentecostals, mainline Protestants, and Roman Catholics. The fourteen contributors, seek to forge a common Christian identity without glossing over the deep and meaningful differences that continue to exist.
