What kinds of halves can space have? Limitless, endless space. Top and bottom ones? Left and right? Not exactly. The authors of this book simply tried to look at the space from two points of view - from the inside and from the outside - and of course got totally different pictures. From the inside - this is a point of view of a human conquering space. From the outside - this is a point of view of non-human. In other words - of an alien.
