Johnson"s renditions of American standards like My Old Flame, Speak Low and What a Wonderful World, clearly show why she remains a familiar fixture with audiences across the country. The songs on the album were inspired by sheet music Dejie inherited from her late uncle Warren Richards, a professional pianist who played in Hollywood in the 1950’s and ‘60s.
