Joseph W. Oberg comes from a ranching and farming family. He has lived for 28 years in the Reno/Sparks, Nevada area. He currently drives trucks for a living; however, writing has always been his passion. Throughout his education, especially in the early years, Joseph excelled in English literature and short story writing. He began studying poetry while attending Our Lady of the Snows Parochial School for 7th and 8th grade. It was here that Joseph took a liking to the rhythmic organization of sentences that speak volumes. Joseph dedicated his life to God and accepted Christ into his life approximately six years ago. After about four years, the Lord urged Joseph to spread the good news concerning His truth in the poetic sense. Joseph created Poetic Words of a Passionate God in hope that it would bring people around the world to a closer and more intimate relationship with God and His Son Jesus Christ.
