Studio Works reflects and documents the spirit and character of the design studios at Harvard"s Graduate School of Design through outstanding student work and student and faculty texts, dialogs, and interviews. It includes work by students in each of the school"s three departments—architecture, landscape architectture, and urban planning and design—from first-year studies to thesis projects. This volume of Studio Works includes essays by and projects from the studios of George Baird, Carol Burns, Juan Busquets, Gary Hilderbrand, Carlos Jimenez, Sheila Kennedy, Rodolfo Machado and Jorge Silvetti, Rafael Moneo, Toshiko Mori, Peter Rowe, Jacques SImon, Marc Treib, Calvin Tsao, Michael Van Valkenburgh, and Mirko Zardini.
