Teaching the Retarded Child: Basic Teaching Procedures for Task Performance Objectives for Severely and Profoundly Retarded Children
The purpose of this book is to serve as a training package for the teacher or parent of a retarded child in teaching specific skills in a selected area of instruction. A major advantage of this type of training package is that it allows an individual to choose a particular Task Analysis and then find a prescribed sequence of steps in order to teach that skill. It also allows the teacher or parent to train others in its use. The analyses presented in this book are not a complete program for the total education of a retarded child.
