Singer-songwriter John Reese is the founder and bandleader of Open Hearts. A prolific and gifted poet, John writes of life"s lessons, of love that endures, and of the things that bring us joy. He formed the band Open Hearts in 1998 to reach a wider audience with his words and music. When this CD was produced in 2005, the band had grown to 7 pieces and developed a tight, progressive folk-rock sound.
