Insets arranged around the map include an area map of Tokyo at a scale of five miles to one inch, a map of Okinawa (Japan"s more southerly islands) at a scale of 16 miles to one inch, Iwo Jima at a scale of 237 miles to one inch, showing the full extent of Japanese territory and Japan"s position in relation to the Chinese Mainland, the Russian Federation, North Korea and South Korea.
