The HEXBUG® Scarab XL is an eerily mesmerizing, mechanical, beetle-like robotic bug that skitters around on six angled legs. The HEXBUG Scarab XL is 65 percent larger than the original HEXBUG Scarab, and is operated by a two-channel, user selectable radio-controlled remote with 7-way steering. The high energy robotic creature is capable of popping from its back to its feet if placed upside down. Three AAA batteries are required in each HEXBUG Spider XL and one 9V battery is required in each remote.
