The transitional bed is designed for children who have outgrown their crib, but still require the included safety bedrails. The childs day bed is a great transitional stage until use of the full-size headboard is needed. The headboard attaches to a standard frame to create a full size bed. Footboard attaches to bed with adult rails, and the bedrails are sold separately. The Austin includes an attached changing station with an included changing pad.
