This collection of works is devoted to the renowned Russian philologist Nina Davidovna Arutiunova whose works laid the basis for a new direction of linguistic studies known as "logical analysis of natural language". This collection includes works by her colleagues and followers divided into three chapters: Types of language meanings; Text; Cultural concepts and languages of culture. Among the contributors to this volume are leading linguists from around the world. Also included is an essay about the professional interests and achievements of N.D. Arutiunova and list of her works.
