This book is a collection of diaries and letters of the Dazhins during the WWII period. They are letters of young people about life at the front, friendship and love, and losses of close people. The book is illustrated with photographs from the family archive. It also includes poems by Irina Dazhina (b. 1921), historian of WWI and WWII.
