Myriam Sultan, nicknamed "The Sacred Voice of Maluf," is one of the very few women performing the maluf of Constantine today. She has the rare grace and personal style that one associates with the truly great voices of Arab music, and her interpretation of this repertoire is dynamic and original; she combines the features of traditional maluf with a more contemporary sound.
