Threefold features the talents of Cesarius Alvim on piano, Eddie Gomez on bass and Eric Le Lann on trumpet and marked the first collaboration between these great artists. The album was originally released in 1988 on the La Lichère label and has been out of print for some time. Following on the success of Alvim s recent duet album with Gomez, this disc makes a welcome return to the catalog.
