But Hill heeded his mentor and set out for Scandinavia with little more than a backpack and a guitar. In Helsinki he met bass player Jesse King, an expatriate from the rugged coasts of Oregon. They then enlisted Tatu Pärssinen, a local drummer who brought a background in African, jazz, and world rhythms to the fold. Price To Pay reveals excellent songwriting.
