Featuring ex-members of noise-punkers Black Eyes (who released a couple of great records on the Dischord label), California"s Mi Ami mine a slightly different musical vein. Tribalistic, cluttered and funky, they sound like they came straight from the UK ca. 1979 than the US in 2010. Think The Pop Group, Slits and all those Rough Trade bands and you"re getting close. Pretty darn ace!
