Bill Heid came of age in the crucible that was Pittsburgh in its jazz heyday. Toured & recorded as a pianist with Jimmy Witherspoon, Koko Taylor, Alberta Adams, Fenton Robinson, & many others. He also played jazz piano on two major Impulse!/MCA recordings
