Re-released to coincide with the BBC4 documentary on TV Smith and the Adverts and the Punk Britannia series in which they talk about these classic lost albums. Now includes 7 bonus tracks. :January 1983 saw TV Smith reunited with ex Advert Tim Cross and David Bowie"s ex-guitarist Tim Renwick to record Channel 5 in Wickham studios in Croydon. 3 weeks later the album was completed and scheduled for a June release. War Fever was earmarked as the first single but at the time the country was fighting a General Election with the card of the Falklands war victory played by the ruling Conservative Party, and as a result the single vanished without trace. By the time the album emerged, the record label Expulsion was teetering on bankruptcy and unfortunately many copies of the album appeared to be pressed on plastic that warped before it left the shop, and was only playable a few times before the crackles and hiss made the album unplayable - thus the album bit the dust and was one of the world"s lost treasures until re-released on CD by Ozit Records in 1999.
