Following the recent release of Marco Enrico Bossi organ works (welcomed with great enthusiasm by the specialized press), Tactus now presents the world premiere of three works for organ by another 20th century composer, almost totally unknown. Born in France in 1931, at age eight Carlo Mosso concluded his musical studies in Turin, where he enjoyed the teaching of the great Massimo Mila. This CD presents two of the four works Mosso dedicated to organ music, and the Tre Pezzi (Three Pieces) based on the Hindemith melodies initially composed for harmonium.
