The second of the "Low Road"/"High Road" concept album pair, this album explores the same themes as "Low" love, war, life in general from a different viewpoint (perhaps the second of two halfs of Marty Anderson"s personality?). Where "Low" sounds exhausted and jaded, "High" sounds hopeful. The ache of "Low" Road"s despair lingers between Anderson"s cautiously optimistic verses. The dichotomy of these two different perspectives creates an album just as perplexing and complex as the issues it ponders.
