When considering "Grimwood", one must give thought to the Michael Yonkers Band"s "Microminiature Love". Originally recorded in 1968, it languished until it was released in 2002 (and later re-issued as a Sub Pop CD). Called the greatest psych record of the 60s by more than a few, it"s no stretch to say that had it materialized, it would"ve altered the lay of the land. But the deal fell apart and the band split, which led to Yonkers retreating and recording "Grimwood". This is intensely private music. Collectors have had a run on it for some time and it"s been impossible to affordably attain, until now. Here it is, re-mastered, digitized, and priced for the people.
