The new quarterly journal from the School of Global Affairs and Public Policy at the American University in Cairo will be a forum for the discussion of subjects in Middle East and American studies, law, migration, communications, and gender. Featuring a wide range of international contributors, he Cairo Review will not restrict itself to Middle East issues, but will also provide commentary and analysis from within the region on a variety of topics. The initial numbers will include articles about President Obama"s foreign policy, women"s empowerment, globalization, water wars in the Middle East, and South Africa in the post-Mandela era. A regular highlight will be The Cairo Review interview with a leading international personality involved in global affairs and public policy. Forthcoming issues will be published in April, July, and October.
