It only lasted a few years, but the Glaser Brothers reunited in the early "80s long enough to put out these two fine country albums on Elektra, which we"ve put together on a single CD with notes by Colin Escott featuring quotes from all three of the Glasers! 1981"s Lovin" Her Was Easier, of course, features the smash hit title track penned by Kris Kristofferson, and the rest of the album is something of an attempt by Tompall to educate the younger generation on their country forebears, with versions of "Busted; A Mansion on the Hill; Just One Time", and "The Last Thing on My Mind" joining the newer songs "It"ll Be Her; Feelin" the Weight of My Chains; United We Fall; Drinkin" Them Beers", and "Tryin" To Outrun the Wind. After All These Years, meanwhile, was devoted to new material and included "I Still Love You (After All These Years)". "Can"t Live with "Em (Can"t Live Without "Em)", "Rosali", "Naked Emotions", "Happy Hour Blue", "Oh, America", "Can I Sleep Here Tonight", "Stay Young", "I Could Never Live Alone Again" and "Maria Consuela". These are probably the last recordings by the Glaser Brothers, and we"re proud to have "em as "Collectors" Choice Music" exclusives!
