The main man behind this project is Ashley Hutchings, also led The Albion Band during 1981 when Lark Rise to Candleford was put on at The National theatre. The subsequent album, simply called Lark Rise to Candleford, became both a commercial and artistic legend. Ashley became closely associated with the public with Lark Rise after this and is the perfect band leader to sell this album.
