Kris" debut solo album, Black Water has already been deemed the critic and fans pick for 2007, having been awarded the prestigious Horizon Award for Emerging Talent and Best Traditional Track ( Green Grows The Laurel) at the 2007 BBC Folk Awards in February alongside rave reviews from UK publications Song Lines to Maverick to the Sun. Blackwater was produced by John McCusker and features Kris with friends Ewen Vernal, Kate Rusby, Donald Shaw, Andy Seward, Andy Cutting, Roddy Woomble, Eddi Reader, Andy Cutting and Andy Seward.
