This tenth volume in the unique Stradivarius survey of the complete sonatas of Domenico Scarlatti presents the twelve sonatas for mandolin and harpsichord. The uniqueness of this series consists partly in entrusting the performances to various artists rather than just one, in the conviction that the richness and plurality of Scarlatti"s creativity should be interpreted in ways that are similarly rich and varied. Also, a variety of instruments are used, reflecting the various ways Scarlatti"s repertoire was spread throughout Europe.
