Eleven arrangers from Los Angeles to London present 23 premiere and/or unique arrangements of classic Christmas tunes for two trombones and rhythm section. Fabio Sampó is first trombone of the RAI Orchestra. He has played under great conductors such as Zubin Metha, Jeffrey Tate, and Roberto Abbado. M. Dee Stewart is a professor and Chair of the Brass Department at the Indiana University Jacobs School of Music. He had an 18-year tenure with the Philadelphia Orchestra under Eugene Ormandy and Ricardo Muti, and has made five recordings with the Grammy Award-winning Philadelphia Brass Ensemble.
