DICKEN or to give him his real name Jeffrey Robert Pain was born in 1950 in Oxford and from the moment he could talk and express his thoughts music was what he was all about. By 1975 he was fronting MR BIG and playing a six week support of QUEEN on their "A Night At The Opera" tour of the UK. By 1977 "Romeo" was released and spent 10 weeks on the UK single chart reaching number 4. Early in 1980 Mr Big were no more and Dicken had formed Broken Home who were recording their first album with Robert John Lange producing and achieving strong sales in Scandinavia and Germany with their albums "Broken Home" and "Life". Now this 2CD set brings together all the musical heritage of Dicken on one 2CD set. Also includes a brand new track Dicken has recorded in 2007 "Matchstick Cross".
