Sky and I had talked about doing a few song demo in my small home studio and it ended up a whole album. It was during a time when Sky was in between recording the Seeds follow up LP to Red Planet. Within a ten day time period we wrote recorded and mixed "Tyrants in The House". Sky" had this spontaneous approach to music and lyrics. He would tell me each day what style the song would be and he would compare it to a song"s melody that was similar, Then I would perform all the instruments and recorded it, his brilliance was so apparent in the whole recording process after we were done with "Tyrants" I felt honored that Sky Saxon famous rock star would take his time to actually work with me, He told me he thought I was a genius( only because I could keep up with his speed of his ideas) and I could do anything I wanted to do musically. The thing that will be with me in my soul for life is that Sky always made me feel special, he told me a week or so before he passed "Everyone needs to leave this place with a legacy" The music we made and Sky"s influence on my life will be my legacy when I leave this place.
